When I say this couple was easy to photograph, I mean it. They just melted into one another and I stood by and clicked...simple as that.
The reception was at the Omni Hotel in downtown Jacksonville. The staff there is fantastic and every reception is always beautiful!
This image was taken my good friend and second shooter, Kim Kirk. I want to thank her for all her great work over the last 2 years that we've really worked together. I don't know what I would have done without you....you have kept me sane. I really, really appreciate everything you have done for me girl! And I think Taka will LOVE this image.
Sarah and Marshall are getting married in early October. We went out for their engagement shoot last Sunday evening, and even though it's July, we didn't roast, thank goodness! I had been waiting to use this overgrown corner lot in Murray Hill and planned it just right for backlighting. Sarah tells me when we arrive that this is her grandfather's old lot, which has been used as a public garden at times to grow vegetables. This first image is probably one of my favorites of ALL times!

I want to give a little ad time to this band from a wedding I shot on May 17 at Amelia Island Plantation. They are called "Last to Leave" and they rocked! They played all types of music and totally knew how to keep a wedding reception going. Their website is www.last2leave.com. Tell Ryan I sent you....
